Rescuing a stalled software project

A repeatable audit process for projects that are late, unstable, or handed over half-finished by a previous vendor.

Audit before you promise anything

In the first week we read the code, run the system, inventory the integrations and list every risk with a severity. No timelines are given before that picture exists.

Stabilise, then improve

Get the build reproducible, add deployment automation and cover critical paths with tests. Only then is it safe to add features again.

Rewrite is the last option

A rewrite restarts the bug discovery clock. We recommend it only when the existing architecture blocks the business outcome, and we say so with reasons rather than opinions.
